Finding the Perfect “I Do” Spot: My Top Wedding Venues in Southwest Missouri

Your wedding day is one of the most memorable moments of your life—and finding the perfect venue sets the stage for everything else. Whether you’re dreaming of a rustic barn celebration, a romantic vineyard ceremony, or an elegant affair in a historic mansion, Southwest Missouri offers a beautiful variety of backdrops to bring your vision to life. In this post, I am spotlighting some of my favorite wedding venues in the region, each with its own charm, character, and reason to say “yes” to the address.

INDUSTRIAL GROVE 

I may be a little partial to this one since it’s where I got married, but this stunning venue is located in Fair Grove, Missouri and has all of the perks. IG offers 1 day or 2 day venue rentals, access to multiple suites and ceremony sites plus multiple amenities. They also offer seating for up to 300 people! Some of my favorite things about this venue are; the bridal suite. IG offers a HUGE getting ready space for the bridal suite, there is plenty of space for everyone to get ready and to hang out the morning of the wedding day. The decor room! IG has a decor room that is full of items you can use, you can also see them all located on IG’s instagram. It is included within your package! Lastly, the staff. Every single person on the IG team is amazing, they really do care about making your wedding day everything you’ve dreamed of and more. JUNIPER GARDENS

Juniper gardens is a unique and stunning venue located in Fairgrove Missouri. This venue actually has two onsite spaces.  We will start with Fieldstone. Fieldstone is the perfect mix of modern with tons of character for the nature lovers in the area. It’s an outdoor setting, with a 20ft stone fireplace being the setting for your outdoor ceremony.  The Fieldstone location seats 160 and has weekday, weekend and 48 hour rentals. The coolest part (beside just how perfectly unique the venue is) is that you can also rent the coolest little treehouse cabin to stay in. From a photographer’s perspective, there are so many beautiful spots at this location to take photos. Mandi just opened up the second venue on the property, it’s called Hillside. This venue is the definition of stunning. It is also so different from venues in the area giving you such a unique look for your big day. A stunning courtyard, the coolest interior design and a reception hall that overlooks a vast field. It’s definitely one of my favorites in the area! HASELTINE ESTATE

Tucked away in good old Springfield Missouri, this venue is an old historic mansion turned wedding venue. This venue is full of character and even used to be an apple orchard. The lawn offers a beautiful outside location that most of the ceremonies happen at. It is surrounded by the most beautiful landscaping. Some really cool features about this venue are; the bridal and groom suites. They both offer ample space to get ready & the groom’s room is one of the coolest I’ve seen, it’s located in the basement but is decked out. The terrace! This outdoor reception space is breathtaking, it is surrounded by white pergolas that are filled with the most beautiful chandeliers. The space truly is nothing like anything else located in the area. In my opinion it gives off the old money vibes and I am totally here for it. The property allows for 200 guests, table and chairs are included which they can set up, free parking, tons and tons of amenities, access to the 10 acre property and the best of all, a 40′ x 80′ frame tent with concrete flooring, elegant lighting and gravel path to and from as their rainy day backup plan. SOUTHERN CHARM ESTATE

I am a sucker for a good old fashioned chapel wedding and Southern Charmed Estate offers just that. Located in Mount Vernon, MO which is just a short drive from Springfield, this venue offers an indoor chapel, an outdoor ceremony site and a 7,500 sq ft reception hall. The venue itself is one of the largest in the SWMO with almost a combined 12,000 sqft between the spaces, it allows for 350 people. SCE also offers pretty amazing add ons to their packages as well such as in house coordination services, a bar service, and decor. This venue is one of my favorites to capture because of its simplicity and elegance. There are huge white columns in the front of the reception hall, beautiful landscaping and even an open field behind the venue to do portraits at. The chapel is a clean slate, you can dress it up as you want or let its beauty speak and your space will look flawless. SCE’s owners, Christie & James, are also some of the nicest human beings I have ever met. They really do cater to your needs and have a lot of knowledge in the wedding world to help you curate the perfect wedding day. THE ATRIUM 

I have never actually shot a wedding at this venue, BUT I did host a styled shoot here and all I have to say is WOW. If you are looking for the most spectacular views this is the place to be. The Atrium is located in Merriam Woods, Mo which is near Branson, Missouri. The outdoor ceremony space has a built in arbor and overlooks the Ozark valley range with rolling hills, lush greens and endless skies. . The venue allows for 200 guests and has a back up rain plan for an indoor ceremony if need be, This venue also offers all inclusive packaging which can be super convenient if you are looking for somewhere to do it all. The inside of the reception hall has floor to ceiling windows that allow for the most beautiful lighting. The venue also offers The Brew Bunker, you can add this on to your wedding day and it will add such a fun touch with hand-crafted coffee and teas, a cold brew bar, or even an Italian soda bar. The Atrium also offers a decor room, court yard games for the perfect cocktail hour and bartending packages. My most favorite part about all of this is that the venue is DOG FRIENDLY, yes you read that right.
